Grab The New Cydia! It is FAST and Awesome

So you’ve probably heard there is a new version of Cydia, which is included in the recent tethered jailbreak redsn0w release. We’ve been testing it and chatting with chpwn and saurik about the differences in it, and thought we’d get a solid list of changes published.

chpwn did a lot of work on many visual tweaks, and as saurik put it “some of my long term performance plans are ‘hitting pay dirt’, and Cydia is much faster than it was before; that said, it isn’t done yet: there’s one more thing that I think is going to make a huge difference that isn’t even in there yet but should be for the final release.” And that’s the biggest improvement as far as many are concerned – it’s just way faster. Loading the Changes tab in my iPhone 4 is now nearly as quick as the AppStore.

Here’s a list of just some of the improvements:

•reduced loading changes time

•faster, native search
•uses public SDK classes whenever possible
•rewritten, faster web views with zooming support
•changes badge works again
•more stable webviews (no crashes when queueing)
•redesigned settings page
•redesigned stashing page

•ads no longer break the package views until restart
•much better queueing UI
•stabler refreshing bar

iPad improvements:

•- landscape
•- popovesr
•- modal views that cover only a portion of the screen
•- less annoying errors with bad internet connections downloading packages
•- updated section mappings, less typo’d sections

This version of Cydia is included in the recent redsn0w release, but if you’re on an iPhone 4 or other already jailbroken device, you can actually install it straight from your iDevice. The absolute easiest way to do so is make sure you have iFile and Safari Download Manager installed, then visit http://apt.saurik.com/cydia/debs/cydia_1.0.3366-1_iphoneos-arm.deb  from your device. Remember where you download it to, and navigate there with iFile afterwards. Tap the deb it and choose install – done!

HowTo Jailbreak Firmware iOS 4.2.1 for iPhone 4 / iPhone 3GS / iPhone 3G/ ipod touch 2,3 and 4/ipad

so this is a jailbreakfor 4.2.1 its easy the problem is that you have to plug in your device into the computer everytime you reboot your device...
but if you have ipod touch 2g (not mc model) or iphone 3g it will work without the rebooting thing

DevTeam Note :
- "Tethered" does not mean you cannot boot at all without PC/Mac assistance. If you have not installed any tweaks that hook into important programs like SpringBoard or CommCenter, your device will actually boot. However, jailbreak programs like Cydia won't work (and Cydia may still have a white icon). Also, certain built-in apps that had to be moved by Cydia will fail (Safari being the most noticeable example).

Redsn0w 4.1 Jailbreak for iPhone 3G & iPod Touch 2G on Mac

as you can see it's the new jailbreak :D
there is some good news and bad news :/

bad news first:
1.this is only for mac right now they are working on a windows version right now
2.this is only for iphone 3g/ipodtouch 2g so we have to wait for the new Jailbreak witch work on everything
3.if you have ipod touch 2g with MC model you must jailbreak it everytime you boot it :/ and that sucks

good news:
1.this is finally working for MC model
2.they are working on a jailbreak for all iphones/ipods
3.windows version will be out soon

PS3 can be hacked now using iphone 3g/2g :D

there is a way to do this for the ipodtouch 1g only but little complicated so if you want me to post it just comment below :D
so lets start:
A-Requirements
1-An iPhone (First Generation or 3G only) or an iPod Touch (First Generation Only)

2-Firmware of iOS 3.1.2/4.0.0/4.0.1/4.0.2 (confirmed) jailbroken with Redsn0w or blackra1n (NOT Spirit)
3-A Playstation 3 running Firmware 3.41 ONLY!
B-Quick Installation on iPhone 2G/3G
1-iPhone 2G: Windows-Mac OSX
2-iPhone 3G: Windows -Mac OSX
3-Unzip, plug iPhone into your computer's USB, run iPhoDroid, click "Shoot!" - these zips contain the above binary distributions of psfreedom pre-loaded.
4-If you want to see the OpeniBoot screen (and be able to run the jailbreak) every time you turn on your phone, be sure to select "install" at the bottom of the OpeniBoot menu on your iPhone the first time you see it. 
5-Select Android and wait for INIT to display repeatedly and the jailbreak is ready to run. See Using_PSFreedom for more info.

GOOD new fresh news about the PS3 hack!

now you can hack the ps3 with iphone/ipodtouch!!!!
the bad news that you can only do it with iphone 2g/3g and ipodtouch 1g
that means not all users will be able o do it
ill post a guide soon(a day or two) with videos and everthing!

[Tutorial] Jailbreakin your PS3 via Android Phones (HTC/Nexus One)

1.Download the package, extract it.


2.Extract N1-CM6-PSFreedom.tar.gz and copy the contents to your SD card.

3.Copy PS3-signed.zip and PS3-No-More-signed.zip to your SD card.

4.Reboot into the recovery console.

5.Install/flash PS3-signed.zip.

6.Reboot your phone.

7.Use ConnectBot or any terminal app and type:
      A- cd /mnt/sdcard
      B-su
      D-insmod psfreedom.ko

8.Kill the power to your PS3, switch on the back (PS3 Fat) or unplug from the wall (PS3 Slim), and connect your phone via USB.

9.Re-enable power and press the PS3 power button followed by the eject button in quick succession.

10.Your PS3 is now hacked! You’ll see “Install Package Files” under GAME on the XMB.

To return your phone to normal just boot back to recovery and flash PS3-No-More-signed.zip. It’s that easy. Video coming soon.

Known bugs:

This will disable wi-fi untill the original boot.img is flashed back.

This will also disable USB mass storage.




NOTE: this jailbreak is tethred that means when you unplug the usb the jailbreak gose away!!
and i DIDNT try this yet,, wait for the video

and there is another way to JB but harder and i couldnt get it when i do ill post it and try to make it simple

about the ps3 jailbreak post i posted earlier i just got news from my friend :RoXaS
well sony is working now on an update to lock the jailbreak.
and the thing is you need an update for the usb to make it work
but the hackers said that you cant update the usb stick you must buy a new one for each new frimware which means in every frimware u have to pay 140$
we have to wait for hacker to hack the usb and provide it system for free to be download and use it with a normal usb flash which it isnt happening yet but someday it will be ^.^

well i really don't know about it (if it is safe or not) cause i've seen so many videos about it. will try to upload news about it asap meanwhile ill upgrade my ipod 2g and ill try to jailbreak it ant tell you what happened

PS3 Modchip PS Jailbreak is here after long time!!!

OK so here it is the ps3 jailbreak.
what it dose it actually backup your original games to your ps3 hard drive or to an external hard drive which is cool.
the trick is you must buy a usb chip which cost 140$ from this site : ps3 chip
and you can use in future 3rd party applications such as home brew,, i think they'll try to make an application that make ISO files playable which means you only have to download them from torrent and put them in a flash or an external hard drive and play them which is cool.

Apple is Ready to Patch JailbreakMe 2.0

Well time to buy an iPhone 4 if you haven’t already, looks like apple has confirmed to CNET that they have developed a fix for Jailbreakme 2.0. It didn’t take them very long which is not very surprising.

This fix is expected to come out in the next firmware update. As always DO NOT UPDATE PASSED 4.0.1. If you update above 4.0.1 you could be without a Jailbreak or unlock for awhile.
